Ella Sabine is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Seattle, WA. She believes that anything funny is also deeply serious- something to be cried over is also to be laughed over, and vice versa. Writing alongside producer Nick Ward of French tears and Hey Marseilles, her songs are full of shimmering cello lines and trumpet reminiscent of her formative years hearing and singing jazz and folk music. With her emotionally intimate lyrics and often comedic honesty, she takes inspiration from folk legends like Joan Baez to pop sensations like Olivia Rodrigo. After living in Boston for two years and studying at Berklee College of Music, she currently attends Western Washington University and performs shows in and around Seattle.
